My partner and I love munching on different snacks or chips when we’re watching our favorite TV series or movies at home after a long day at our internet cafe. And, for the past week, we are in love with Oishi‘s new product – Marty’s Baconette Strips.
Marty’s Baconette Strips are bacon-flavored snacks so if you’re worried about too much fat or calories, then, this snack is for you. It’s actually very light and Mai can’t stop munching on them. The flavor is close to how bacon should taste like so I’m also addicted to it.
Another snack product of Oishi that I absolutely love is Marty’s Cracklin’. Ever since they launched this, I can’t get enough!
Mai was a bit concerned at first ’cause it’s chicharon, but, I let her read the label and the information at the back of the packaging. It’s actually vegetarian chicharon so, indeed, it’s guilt-free! So, now, she’s okay with me snacking on Marty’s Cracklin’.
I prefer this Plain Salted Marty’s Cracklin’ over their Salt and Vinegar flavor. But, the vinegar-flavored snack tastes really well with a bottle of beer. *grin*
Have you already tried these 2 new snack products from Oishi?
Enjoy!
Our entry this week for:
we have tried both ‘chips’ here at home! we like eating them, too… though it is a bit salty for me (my friends used to say my taste was bland whenever they let me cook, lol). still, i like munching on them every once in a while. 🙂
Yummy and healthful snack!!!

im interested to try that baconette strips!!
I first had a taste of Marty’s Cracklin’ Feb 2009 while on a trip to Cebu. At first I didn’t like it, but when I get home and saw it at the supermarket, I bought it and started to like it. I prefer the plain one over the vinegar, too.
Yung Baconette Strips, once ko lang natikman. Yeah, it does taste a lot like real bacon.

i like Marty’s Cracklin’, too..plain salt is also my choice.
Marty’s has been my local fave snack at home and this bacon flavor tops it all. The best partner when me and my brothers would drown ourselves over dvds.
