One of my favorite breakfast meals is a stack of pancakes. I used to make them like two to three times a week. But, because of my very busy schedule the past months, I stopped because it was too time-consuming making a lump-free pancake mixture. Thank goodness for the Blender Bottle.
The Blender Bottle is a patented, best-selling portable shaker in the US. From what I’ve read, it’s a popular kitchen tool that has been used and featured in renowned magazines, TV shows, and has been used by celebrities like Hugh Jackman and Jessica Biel.
When this was sent to us for a feature here, I honestly had doubts it’ll work. I gave it plus points for the container is made of thick, durable plastic. The StayOpen flip cap also was one of the first things I liked about the Blender Bottle because I don’t want to mess our kitchen with spills when I start shaking this bottle.
How does the Blender Bottle actually work? It’s not complicated to understand, but it was surprisingly very effective. There’s a Blender Ball included with it that’s doing most of the work. It’s a polished 316 Stainless steel wire whisk that’s responsible for blending ingredients into a smooth consistency.
You blend the ingredients by shaking the bottle vigorously with the wire whisk in it. You’d be surprised how quickly the Blender Bottle will give you a lump-free mixture.
The Blender Bottle can be used for multiple tasks in the kitchen like preparing your own smoothies, shakes, gravy, etc. I even used it to beat the eggs for what I’m planning to do.
Since one of the most inconvenient mixtures to make that I could think of is pancake batter, it’s what I decided to do to test this product. I’m not going to share with you the recipe for the Chocolate Chip Pancakes with cinnamon cream I made because it wasn’t completely successful. No, it’s not because of the Blender Bottle, but because I used too many chips than I should’ve. 😀 We still enjoyed the pancakes though, but I wish I made something simpler for all of us.
Here are the ingredients for my pancake mixture, except for the cream. I used it for the cinnamon cream I made to complement the choco chip pancakes.
I mixed all the pancake batter ingredients into the Blender Bottle. Shook it for a couple of times and here’s what I got:
See?! No lumps!! I LOVE this! 🙂 I then added the chocolate chips. I should’ve added them when I poured the batter onto the pan. That way, I could’ve gauged how much I needed for one pancake.
I managed to make 3 pancakes from the batter. But, if you’re following a simple recipe, you can use the Blender Bottle to whip up about 5-7 pancakes.
To sum it up…
Positive:
- No electricity or batteries needed. Talk about conserving energy! 🙂
- Minimal effort to get that lump-free consistency.
- There are ounce and milliliter markings on the side of the bottle so you can use this to measure ingredients or mixtures as well.
- Spill-proof cap. Trust me, I tested this one a couple of times. 😀
- Gripper Bars or indentations on the sides of the bottle makes it easier to handle or hold it while you shake your tail feathers.. ermm I mean your mixtures. 🙂
- Very convenient to use, clean up and store.
- You can use it for making various mixtures that usually needs a food processor or blender.
Negative:
- The bottle can only contain a small amount of batter for pancakes. For other mixtures like shakes, smoothies, etc., this is just amazing. But, if you’re planning on making pancakes for your whole family, you’d need to make a couple of batches using the bottle. HOWEVER, since it’s easy as 1-2-3 to use this, it’ll still be okay. 🙂
Overall, again, I LOVE the Blender Bottle. It’s now my favorite blending buddy. And I look forward to making more decent pancakes again. 🙂
The Blender Bottle comes in 20 and 28-ounce containers. They also have different colored lids. They’re also planning on having add-on accessories available so you can better carry this wherever.
You can buy the Blender Bottle from Chris Sports, Health Express, Dimensione, Beyond Yoga Studio, and Health and Beyond for the SRP of Php 699 for the small bottle and Php 799 for the bigger one.

Wow!
I noticed that the chocolate chips are still whole. Â Can it fully turn fruit slices and vegetable slices into a juice like the conventional blenders?
Oh, the chocolate chips weren’t meant to be broken down. I added them last and only shook the bottle to mix it in with the rest of the batter.
I believe it can turn fruits into shake consistency. Pero they have to be sliced beforehand. With vegetables, I think it can only blend them if they’re mushy.
Thanks! Will check it out.  It could be really useful.  We often have a lot of fruits at home that end up spoiled and overripe because we are all too lazy to make them into a smoothie.  We find it difficult to wash the blades of the conventional blender. =pÂ
Oohhh yeah, that’ll be perfect with this one. So easy to clean! 🙂
Oooh! I think this would be pretty useful for making my husband’s protein shake. I’m too lazy to wash the blender every single time, while this would be way easier to clean. 🙂
Yes! This will be perfect! And from our experience, the batter didn’t stick to the sides nor the wire whisk ball which made it way quicker to clean. 🙂
I’ve never tried such things like these… I mean, blending ingredients so as to make juice or whatnot’s… but just looking at how you’ve made it and all that tempts me to try! Haha! 🙂 Will take note of this.
I think it is made for mixing liquid ingredients, Others think it’s like a blender machine that crushes all of the items that you want to be crushed. I bought a blender at goods (dot) ph for my sister as a birthday gift, she’s a vegetarian. It’s an advantage when you have a blender in your home, it mixes a lot of things without hassle.
