Last week of June, we wrote about Haagen-Dazs closing all their Philippines stores. To cap off their stay here, they are holding a massive “clearance” sale. You can now buy Haagen-Dazs ice cream for UP TO 50% OFF (note that not all products are sold at half off)!
Here are the participating stores and supermarkets nationwide (Metro Manila, Baguio, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Cebu, Bacolod, Davao, CDO, Gensan, etc) that are selling Haagen-Dazs ice cream at half off (click image to view a larger version):
The promo will end on September 15, 2012, so you still have 2 months to grab all the Haagen-Dazs ice cream you can get before they finally say goodbye to the PH. We’re planning on checking the Haagen-Dazs products and their sale prices at S&R and Landmark Trinoma to see if they’re worth the fuzz. If you can give us feedback, let us know at the comments section.
NOTE: This promo was posted on Haagen-Dazs Philippines’ official Facebook page.
Like what we’ve said before, we’re not completely saddened by this news about Haagen-Dazs stopping their sales here since there are a ton of other selections available to us Pinoys that are much cheaper and even uniquely ours. We’ve got artisan ice cream makers who produce high quality frozen products at various numbingly delightful flavors, so don’t fret. 🙂
Last time, we told you about the other ice cream brands you can continue to enjoy like Magnum and other Selecta products, Magnolia, Nestle, and even Arcee Dairy (wait for our upcoming ice cream series!). Now, let’s share with you our favorite artisan ice cream makers:
There’s Carmen’s Best Ice Cream, with their catchphrase “From Cow to Cone” ensuring us of only the freshest ingredients used in their ice cream. We’ve tried their Salted Caramel and Coffee-flavored ice cream in Ultimate Taste Test 6.0 in Rockwell.
That’s Paco Magsaysay who introduced us to their wonderfully creamy ice cream and Holly’s Milk! 🙂
Of course, there’s Merry Moo! They’re on top of our best artisan ice cream makers here! We’ve enjoyed their ice cream twice at the Ultimate Taste Tests and twice when we went to Mercato Centrale for lunch. We just can’t get enough of their creativity in ice cream flavors, seriously! 🙂
We love, love, love their Queso de Bola and Fiesta Ham! When we brought our nanay to Mercato Centrale a few months ago, she wanted to have thirds of this ice cream flavor. 😀
Oh, and we had a taste of this Tilapia Ice Cream from Central Luzon State University. Intriguingly good!
And, finally, Fruits in Ice Cream or FIC! How can we forget them! 🙂
There’s also Sebastian’s ice cream, which we’ll be blogging about next. We have a few more to try very soon.
You see, we have a wide variety of options when it comes to frozen delights here in the Philippines. So, if you miss out on the Great Haagen-Dazs sale, go grab a tub or 2 of any of these artisan ice creams anytime you like. 😉
I can’t wait to start our ice cream series. We’ve been too busy lately, but we promise to start writing about our foodie adventures again this week. 🙂
Hi!! I wish haagen dasz will not run out of stocks at supermarkets 🙂 thanks for the info.
Thanks a lot for picking us as one of the best ice cream artisan makers! 🙂 We hope to continue delighting you with more new and exciting flavors 🙂
on the contrary we are saddened, the distributor is a friend of Noi 🙂
