Timeless Valentine Experience at Casa Roces
If you’re in the mood for a romantic dinner and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Metro, maybe Casa Roces in the historic Intramuros and San Miguel district, near the Malacañang Palace, is the more suiting restaurant for you. Chef Paul Cruz is preparing an intricate 4-course dinner, starting you off with welcome drinks and an amuse-bouche of Camembert and Strawberry Confit in Phyllo Crust.
For appetizer, they’re serving a salad of pan-fried harissa shrimps on watermelon and feta cheese with fresh mint and balsamic vinaigrette.
For main course, you have two (2) options: Milk-poached Salmon Fillet on garlic petsai, tomato and bacon fricassee with orange hollandaise sauce, and Porchetta served on roasted vegetables, sautéed rapini with Chocolate-port wine sauce.
For dessert, they’re serving a seductive Flourless Chocolate Tart with fresh berries and pistachio. Mmmmm… 😉
If you want a more intimate celebration with your boo, you can go upstairs where they’ll captivate you with harp music from Avonlea Paraiso.
This special menu is available from February 14 to 17, 2013. See prices below:
-
At the main level, price is Php 899+ / person.

If you want to have dinner at the gallery, with the harpist, an elegant setup and welcome cocktails, it’s Php 1,350+ / person.
By the way, Casa Roces will be unveiling their “La Azotea†group dinner packages real soon. The theme of this dinner package will bring you back to the Commonwealth Era when Filipinos used to dress up for a meal.
