See updates and ticket information at the end of the post. 🙂

After last year’s Foodgasm event where Ken and I participated as blogger judges, we are looking forward to another night of yummy discoveries at Foodgasm II brought to us by UP Economics Society (UP EcoSoc).

UP Economics Society's Foodgasm II event at Mercato Centrale

Foodgasm is UP EcoSoc’s fund-raising project where they aim to highlight 30 up-and-coming food businesses / entrepreneurs through a food-tasting competition. This year, there’ll be a total of 800 foodies at the event, including some of our fellow food bloggers and chef judges.

The event is happening on March 9, 2013 at Mercato Centrale, and this month, there are still slots open for food business owners. If you are a startup entrepreneur in the food industry, this is your chance to get the word out about what you have to offer.

The winning food business at the event, as voted by the foodies and the judges, will win Php 10,000 in cash and a FREE space at Midnight Mercato. PLUS, you’d get promotions from the food bloggers who’ll be at the event.

UP Economics Society's Foodgasm II - Attention food business owners

If you check our feature on last year’s Foodgasm, we also wrote about our favorites from the event, not just the winner. So, this is a great opportunity to have your products showcased by food bloggers. All you have to do is provide 800 bite-sized quality samples of your products.

Deadline for registration is February 23, 2013.

TIP: If you’re joining this event as a food business owner, I would suggest that you prepare a signage explaining what your product is so you won’t have to explain every time someone comes to your station. Also, prepare your business cards, flyers, etc., with links to your social media accounts.

For more information on Foodgasm II and how to join:

I’ll be there with a friend. Not sure if Ken will be able to join me because he’s got work. Stay tuned for updates on the ticket prices. 🙂
