I Love Red Mango Frozen Yogurt!

by | Sep 3, 2010 | 13 comments

One of the things that I’m absolutely addicted to nowadays is frozen yogurt. I’m addicted to the regular yogurt, too, but, enjoying a cup or tub of froyo can really freshen up my mood. I mean, it’s healthful and really yummy! So, I now opt to having frozen yogurt over ice cream anytime!

So far, I’ve only tried frozen yogurt being offered by 3 stores – Red Mango, The White Hat, and Yoh-Gurt. All I can say is I enjoyed all of them, but, I love the first 2 more.

Last time we were at SM Mall of Asia, Mai and I headed out to Red Mango to try out their frozen yogurt. I told Mai that I HAVE TO try all the frozen yogurt stores in MOA because I want to compare them to know which store offers the best frozen yogurt in town. And, I’m happy to say that Red Mango did not disappoint.

By the way, I love the interior design of Red Mango. When you enter their store, you’d feel refreshed already. I’m not kidding!

I guess it’s because of the smell of all the healthful toppings and the cool atmosphere inside. Look at all these!

I wanted to try something different instead of ordering the same toppings. Good thing they’ve got 21 toppings to choose from: Special K, Cap’n Crunch, Banana Nut Crunch, Muesli, Sliced Almonds, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, Mango, Grapes, Mandarin Orange, Kiwi, Peaches, Banana, Blueberry, Melon, Pineapple, Watermelon, Red Bean, Dezato Mochi Balls, Crushed Graham, and Chocolate Chips.

Mai and I ordered their original frozen yogurt. Red Mango offers Green Tea frozen yogurt, too. But, we wanted to try their regular yogurt first.

I ordered mine with 3 toppings. What’s great is if you order 3 toppings, you can save Php 20. I ordered a large-sized cup (8 oz.) at Php 150 plus Php 40 for the 3 toppings. Mai chose to go medium (6 oz.) at Php 115. The toppings I chose are Mandarin Orange, Blueberry and Kiwi. I loved all of them! 🙂

I ended up sharing the toppings with Mai because she also loved them with the frozen yogurt. Not only that, we also loved the texture of their yogurt. And, the toppings complement the slightly sour taste of the yogurt.

I really want to go back to Red Mango to try their other toppings. I actually won a Php 250 Red Mango gift certificate from a giveaway on Facebook. But, unfortunately, I won’t be able to pick it up so I gave it to a batchmate of mine back in high school. His office is close to Greenhills so he agreed to pick it up for me. I just don’t have the time now to go to Greenhills. But, MOA is just a train ride away so I know I’d get my frozen yogurt fix anytime.

If you want to check out Red Mango’s menu or more information about them and store locations, please visit their website.

I am really into frozen yogurt nowadays because it’s a healthful substitute to ice cream. Plus, yogurt is one of the healthiest food because it’s good for the tummy and immune system. Red Mango’s frozen yogurt is definitely on the top of my list!
